Living a Life that Pleases God

As our Father, God desires that we please Him in all our ways – in our words, actions, character, lifestyle, relationships, etc. What we do brings pleasure or displeasure to God. Pleasing God must be our highest priority. Pleasing God is not difficult, because He gives us everything, we need to please Him. Sometimes, our problem is fear of man or trying to please people. We cannot please God in the flesh. We must first accept Jesus Christ into our life and be born again. Once you are in the kingdom of God, pleasing Him is inevitable. You will be empowered by the Holy Spirit to live a life that is pleasing to God. Pleasing God is about living by God’s standards, not by the world’s standards. It is a matter of obeying God’s Word and living by faith. It is a life that fears God. God promises to reward those who please Him.
